For many families, the transport service is essential so that their children can travel to and from the Ikastola. Therefore, the Ikastola offers two options depending on where the family lives. On the one hand, families from Bergara who live in rural neighbourhoods can use the free municipal bus service. On the other, to travel from the neighbourhoods furthest from the town centre, we have the walking bus.

WALKING BUS

As the name suggests, it is a walking service, used by children aged 3-4 to 9-10 to travel from their neighbourhoods to the Ikastola and back. We currently have active routes in the Ernai, Bolu and Labegaraieta neighbourhoods, and new ones may be created depending on needs. Children gather in groups with limited ratios, and an educator accompanies them along the way.

Any student who needs it may use the service, and registration for the following school year must be completed around June. It should be taken into account that, in addition to the starting point of the route, there are also stops along the way to pick up more children.
